Coming from true musical heritage as the son of Garry Christian of legendary British soul band The Christians, soul music runs through his veins. Miles' grandfather was Lord Woodbine, an early mentor and driver for The Beatles in their Hamburg days, while his uncle was in the 70s funk band 'Heatwave'

Before launching his soul classic revue, Miles made his name portraying Bobby Byrd in The James Brown Experience and then as the lead male vocalist in the Northern Soul show 'Do I Love You', earning praise for his powerful vocals and captivating live performances. He also performed as the lead male vocalist in the theatre production of 'Lost In Music' which toured the United Kingdom, Europe and Australia for 2 years.
